hey everyone im in the process of building my own led lights for my 125g reef tank project

for the build im using

  • 3x 100w 20,000k* leds
  • 6x 20w royal blue leds
  • 3 20"x6' anodized heat sinks
  • dimmable chinese drivers
  • 3x120mm fans (will add more if needed)

the leds will be mounted straight to the heatsink with a acrylic splash guard wituout lenses i want the light to spread as much as i can and blend well which  will be dificult because the leds are going to be roughly 5" from the water.

the heatsinks willl be mounted to a rail that is modular and will have a track under the hood that it will slide in so you can push the pendants back so you can acess the tank without removing the hood

i will be doing testing on the leds for both par and spectrum
