BCSWEENY,

Thanks for the info. I stopped in at sea oddities today and found a real nice center peace with oral algea on it and another rock that had purple and red growth unsure of what it is

Hey divemedic checked the rock out today i think you was talking about in kingsport. I found some at sea oddities for 3.99 a pound and at petcove for 3.99 a pound. Both had some pieces that would do good for show pieces but they havent been in there systems long enough yet to get the coraling algea groth but would in time.

Even though I put Bugg onto "Just Live Rock",
I'm going to have to agree that this guy isn't very good with Follow up......maybe in the summer months he's a little better.

Lee Broyles @ Mountain Reef has rock at a Fair price to TCRC members.  (he's LEB on this Forum)

Welcome and thanks for the nice words Dude.

Gonna go eat, be back later this evening.

Divemedic,
I think Monty can help you out on where to get some really good live rock. I would suggest that you get plenty of it too! Live Rock will help to filter and keep your levels low in the aquarium.

Thanks to Monty I have found this site and a affordable light to begin our aquarium. I now have everything set up and running. Found out that if you lay a plastic bag over the sand it doesn't get as cloudy. After all set up was done tank was crystal clear within the hour, added bacteria from one of monty's tanks. Still crystal clear. Finially decided to check the specific gravity.... awesome, right where is is suppost to be! Now, it has been a few days and everything is going well. I know the the best filter system is what is lying on the ocean floor so I am asking.... where can I get some live rock from?,and if there is anything specific that I need to do? Step by step, please some of this sometimes seems to be so alien to me.

Robert
