Thanks for your quick response. I am going from a 20 long to a 40 breeder. I was thinking of add some of my water to it like when I do a water change an of course my substrate an a little of my live rock to help the cycle. Do you think that would help at all? I want to make the move as unstressful as I can ya know so I may call you for that advice sometime or if you can think of anything just reply thanks again.
It would largley depend on how large a tank you were moving to. A large amount of fresh salt water added sand and new live rock could possably cause a miny cycle on your tank. If you do it quickley with minimal tempature and salanity change you should be ok. dont add anything new for a few weeks.their are several more things to do if would like to talk about them call me 423-956-4950
I decided to start this because it is something I am soon doing. I wonder how hard this is going to be. A lot of people have told me it is hard that they lost all there fish an coral. If anyone has done this an has some advice please post it would be a lot of help an mean a lot to me an to other people about to do the same thing.
