I dont think the kelvin rating is as important personally as the type of bulb when choosing between 14K. I personally like a little bluer look 14/12K vs 10K although I believe you have just a notch better growth with some corals under 10K. If I had to choose I would choose 10K hamiltons which I like alot or 14K pheonixs bulbs which I will be installing when ever they ship up the reflectors.
hey guys I have another question. I have searched all around which is better 14 k or 10 k lighting i currently have the 10 and im not very impressed the coral under 14k lighting looks much much better but what kind of effect does this have on coral is 10k better for coral or 14k or does it all come down to what your keeping?
