That fuge seems kinda small to me at under 5 gallons for the price.  You could get a 5$ clear rubbermaid, with a 5$ bulkhead and some plumming and run it into your sump/above your main display, possibly have it like a raceway with your drain/use a mj1200 or so, and light it with a bulb reccomended from meleeves reef and it would cost about 20$'s in total and it could be customized to fit to your size if you have the space.

As little $ as possible.
I think that is the way I'm gonna go. I've talked to Matt a coupe of times about it & he's given me some good advice.
I have a bowfront tank so it kind of limits my cabinet space.
I'm going to take some measurements tonight & see what I have to work with.
I would like to check it out sometime to get an idea of how it all works if you don't mind.
Do you have an external pump?

I'm fairly new to SW. I've had a 90g set up for about 3 years. I have a couple of tangs, clowns, a mandarin, and some corals (star polyps, shrooms, and some zoos).I've been using RO water over a year now, and recently added my own system (thank god!). I got mh lighting 8 months ago. It came with crappy bulbs wich caused nuisance blooms. I've recently replaced them with Coralife 10k hqi, and they seem great so far. Like any reefer I want my tank the best environment possible, and I always want more "stuff".

Recently a few things have been brought to my attention I need to address.

1. I need a refugium-I've been brainstorming about this for weeks. My 1st plan was to use like a rubbermaid tub in my cabinet & drain into the sump. After alot of research I think it will be better to use a syphon type return rather than pumping from the sump. My problem is limited space. I have a nice cherry wood cabinet & canopy. The beauty of the tank alone is how I got my wife to go along with me in this never ending adventure. I need a fuge somewhat hidden. What do you guys think of this hang on type? http://www.aquacave.com/detail.aspx?ID=651 Is it big enough for my 90g? I hate to spend the $ when I could rig something, but this is the best idea I can come up with. When I do start a fuge is there anyone I can get some "stuff" from (sand, cheato, etc.).

2. Skimmer- I have a Sealife Pro Series 150 wet dry & I'm using the skimmer it came with. I seems small compared to some I've seen. I don't seem to be getting as much waste as I did in the past. I do much more frequent water changes than in the past, try not to over feed, and take alot better care of the tank overall. I do get foam in the cup. It has a drain about an 1" from the bottom of the cup. It will reach the drain about once a week. Does that seem like enough?

3. More frequent water changes- I've been making myself do weekly 10-15g water changes. I recently started using Crystal Sea from Mtn. Reef. If they use it I will. I found them on Ebay & so glad I did. I went up to Erwin & was very impressed.

4. Flow- I added a Koralia 4 (which is kick ass) from Mtn. Reef. Along with the powerheads I had (MaxiJet 1200 with spinner, a 900, & a 600. I trying to acheive what Matt called "kaotic flow". Does that seem like enough?

5. Replacing bio balls with LR- I'm doing a little at a time with each wc. I'm about half way there.

Now you guys know my life history on my 1st post. I've been meaning to post for a while now, just been very busy this summer.
Thanks for reading this looonnnggg post.
Any suggestions are welcome.
I'd love to attend a meeting if I'm welcome. Let me know when & where & I'll be there.
It would be nice to get to know some fellow reefers.
I'm sure I could learn alot from you guys.
