Yea the people that were supposed to buy it gave me a 500 deposit on it and never came back with the other 1500 so nope I still have it but I ain't in no hurry to sell it and really I may keep it for down the road cause I will never find another like it and since I already bought that 125 I will probably just keep an add on Craigslist and put it in the building and if I sell it ok if not then it won't hurt my feelings

Also - - - make sure to familiarize yourself with the details of the nitrogen cycle and cycling the tank. Sometimes it can take some time before its ok to add any inhabitants. Make sure to get yourself a good test kit . Heres an example : http://www.thatpetplace.com/saltwater-liquid-master-test-kit

Welcome to TCRC. We have some pretty knowledgeable people here that are more than willing to help out in any way we can.

RO Filtration - This is where i purchased my unit. Very knowledgeable guys, great customer service, and an amazing product. Make sure to order a TDS meter with your system. ******

Heres the model that I use -
OCEAN WAVE FIVE STAGE 75 GPD RO/DI

Water is essentially your entire tank. Without perfect water, your tank will suffer. A reverse osmosis system is a must for anyone wanting to keep any type of coral. A TDS meter will not only allow you to make sure that your water is perfect, it will also tell you when you need to change your filters.

Salt- Most salts are fine for beginners but once you start growing coral and such , you will develop a liking for specific brands based on the details of the salt mix. A good refractometer is a must. You can find some good ones on ebay for around 15-20 . Heres a link for example:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Salinity-Refractometer-0-10-ATC-Aquarium-Salt-Water-/230891553342?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35c235823e

I hope you enjoy your stay and please let us know if we can help in any way!

Also if you dont mind, tell us a little bit more about your business. Im always up for supporting local businesses!

Hey guys - I am a new member to the site here.  I have kept fish off and on since I was in high school.  However, as of right now I have a 75 Cichlid Tanl setup and love it.  I got out of the hobby about 8 years ago and at that time I had a 125 saltwater tank.  I am going to get back into saltwater - just the other day I purchased a 28 gallon LED bio cube for myself and I also picked up one for my 6 year old as one of her christmas presents.  I am excited about my reef tank that I am planning.  You guys can correct me if I am wrong but when I had my 125 it was a georgous tank but it just wasnt doing well overall.  The few reefs I had was not flourishing like they should have and at that time I did not take the time needed to educate myself on the ins and outs of the hobby.  I have since changed my habits and read a lot on the internet as well as forums just like this one.  I believe my main problem at that time was my water - I was using tap water and thought RO/DI would be a lot of work and a lot of expense.  This go around I am purchasing a RO/DI system and doing it right.  I am just trying to decide which one is the best one to go with but will more than likely purchase it this weekend online.

But hey I am here and glad to be here!!  I own and operate one of Kingsports oldest businesses so I am a local.  I am finding myself considering a couple tanks on here for sale for my business as a display tank or maybe for my office who knows.

Cheers!
