Start your tank off with some Dr. Tims one and only. Don't use anything from someone else's tank. Just start fresh, so IF anything happens you know its something you did and wasnt anyone's rock, or media, that messed with anything.
good advice, or if you do get something from someones tank make sure their tank doesnt have any problems you dont want
Well bro I hope u found what I needed at lowes cause I didn't. Lol. Glad u looked us up. These people on this forum are very knowledgeable and some just think they are. Lol jk. I'm sure this will be a huge help to u like it was and still is for me. I have meet some great friends on here and I have got some very good ideas and help. Hollar if u need anything.

welcome john, hope you can make it to the meeting. does your 75g tank have internal overflows or are you going to drill? you should check out our tank build threads im sure you can find some good info there and it would be way cool if you could start a new build thread for your tank, its the best way to get advice and i always enjoy reading about other peoples builds
Hi yall .My name is john and i am deff a noob lol . I have lived in johnson city since feb 14th when i got married . We are expecting our first kid in NOV 15th :) . So the 75 gal reef tank i am setting up is going slower than i would like as i am trying to do it on a budget ( Babys cost alot ) lol . So i am still geting all the stuff i need for it together slowly but surely . And this is my first reef tank as well . I have had saltwater tanks before just not a reef tank. I was so glad to find that when i moved to JC that there is such an awesome pet store just down the road from me !!! I was told about this club by someone i meet at lowes doing the samething i was ( buying plumbing parts for a tank) . Anyway i hope to meet yall soon . any tips on geting started ,equipment ,diy,money saves, etc .... will be greatly appreciated !! God bless :)
