yeah i enjoyed that arcile hort, i like runing carbon myself. and havent had any issues due to carbon that i know of. but i enjoy knowing that it can remove contaminants that could come from within my home that i am unaware of, and contaminants that i know of like me putting my hands in the tank :P

While cleaning out my cannister filter tonight doing routine maintnence I thought about removing the carbon from my filter and going carbonless to see if it would improve my Xenias health. I began to do a little research and after finding this article I believe the carbon will be going back in as of tommorow. This article is pretty good explaining some of the misconceptions associated with Active Carbon use and the grade available to us as hobbyists.
