Yeah, he had a few more spikes/spines missing this morning.  So I guess I will take him back today and get something else.  I did a little research and found that crabs are predators to sea urchins.  Oh well...

I had a diffrent kind of crab do that before, the spines will grow back but more than likley he will end up killing him.

I got a small black sea urchin today at Aquatics in JC.  I was just watching him and my emerald crab walked over and started attacking the urchin.  He broke off a few spikes and ate the spikes.  Has anyone else had this two together before?

I hope the urchin makes it thru the night.  I might have to take him back to the store tomorrow before he becomes a $20 snack...
