I am currently using two flouresent 4' with two 40w 6100k F40 T12 bulbs. They are over a 150 FOWLR, and I want to upgrade as inexpensively as possible. Any ideas?

i think they would be a good upgrade for your frag tank, or maybe you could hang them over your show tank and move the 400watt to the frag if you put them over the show tank you could position them how you wanted to get rid of those dark spots just my opinion

At Pet Partners, an Electrician replaced 3 small spotlights that illuminate the sign.

When he was going to trash them, I grabbed them.

These Fixtures are identical to a DIY Metal Halide I scored from Izzy.

The bulb holder clips would have to be replaced with 70 or 150 watt MH holders, I think Ballast Wise has a good Ballast @ a great price.
I think one of the lenses are broken but could easily be replaced for pennies.

***If any of you have ideas for this project, please chime in***
