Sea Urchins and Emerald Crabs?

I got a small black sea urchin today at Aquatics in JC. I was just watching him and my emerald crab walked over and started attacking the urchin. He broke off a few spikes and ate the spikes. Snail eggs....

Well I have a Nassarius snail actually 2 one of them is laying eggs she has two batches on my glass. It is pretty cool I tried to get a pic of it but it is blury. Anyone know anything about this or have any advice?
